DNC Chair Ken Martin

I keep seeing instances where small groups of Democrats continue to vote WITH republicans on bills that #47 is pushing.  It's disheartening to see the Dems not being united in blocking a fascist agenda. These are not normal times where debate is a healthy thing.  

At the same time, I continue to get texts and emails asking for money.  Most politicians want your votes and your donations.  I plan to donate only to those who are walking the walk.  I will not be donating to the Democratic Party directly until I see more unity.  Fetterman doesn't count.  He's bought and paid for and I consider him to be a Republican at this point. I feel much the same about Schumer.   However, I hope the party ostracizes and makes life difficult for those who stray.

I plan to contact the DNC more in the future.

Ken Martin is the DNC chair, so he's the one I contacted, but there's no need to stop there.  You could contact other officers in the DNC or the politicians who voted against our best interests.  You could also contact those in leadership roles - committee chairs, Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, etc.

One good resource to find out how politicians voted on various bills is GovTrack.us.

When you see that a politician has strayed, you can send them a postcard, call, or contact them though their website.  Just do something to let them know this is not acceptable!

 I HATE faux news with a passion.  I blame them for creating the situation we are in now.  They sow hate and feed lies non-stop.  The way they edit and embellish to obscure the truth is immoral.

Clarence Thomas - Defender of Fascism

 Over and over, Clarence Thomas shows he cares little for the rule of law or the Constitution.  With all the bribes he's accepted (gifts he doesn't own up to) it's clear he is beyond compromised.  He is the clearest example I can think of as to why we need to take Supreme Court appointments seriously. 

I wrote a card with his staff in mind.  Clarence wouldn't bother with it, but maybe someone else will read it.  Maybe that person has been having pangs of guilt.  I don't know, but I guess it's a tiny pebble in the pond, trying to make a ripple.

Home Depot & ICE Raids

Immigrant day laborers often gather at Home Depots and wait for people who could use a bit of help to come by.  This is particularly helpful for building contractors who may need help for just a day or two and can't afford to hire someone long term.  Unfortunately, ICE uses this as a way to target victims.  

We need to put pressure on companies to take a stand against ICE raids on their property.

 I have 2 Instant Pots.  I have often recommended them to friends.  Not anymore!  They are making an Instant Pot that honors FelØn47.  I remember when presidents used to go out of their way to avoid appearances of conflicts of interest.
