Epstein Files - Petition to Release

There are calls to make and no time to waste!    (or emails or postcards)

The Epstein Discharge Petition is a petition to force a vote on the release of files associated with Jeffrey Epstein. Trump’s DOJ and FBI has said they won’t release any more files on Jeffrey Epstein. The petition was filed by Kentucky Republican, Thomas Massie, and calls for a vote on a bill, written by Massie and California Democrat Ro Khanna which would require the Justice Department to release the Epstein files within 30 days.  At the time of writing, the petition has gained 134 signatures from 130 Democrats and four Republicans - Thomas Massie (Kentucky), Marjorie Taylor Greene (Georgia), Nancy Mace (South Carolina), and Lauren Boebert (Colorado).   Massie and Khanna need 218 signatures to force a vote on their bill on the House floor. - Newsweek

The cartoons on this post would be fun to print out
and decoupage to a postcard to send to
the rep of your choice.

These are the Republican WOMEN in the U.S. House of Representatives who, so far, have NOT signed the Epstein Discharge Petition.  Scroll down to see more info on this.

This is just the women.  Feel free to also contact Republican men!!!  We should probably also make a call to the 4 Republicans who have signed the petition...

There is a fabulous website that has phone numbers, addresses, and website links for ALL our senators and representatives - Congress Call List.  I like this site so much that I added it to the LINKS section at the bottom of this site so it will be there anytime you visit.  This will help you easily call, write or contact them online!  Even if you don't have time to contact them all, at least do some today.  Then maybe more tomorrow.  And more the day after that...   PUT THE PRESSURE ON!

As expected, the Trump administration is pushing against any Republicans who sign the petition.  The threat is not very subtle - "signing a petition to release the Epstein files will be viewed as a "hostile act". - MSN

Mike Johnson is trying to give Republicans a way to say they are concerned, but probably without accomplishing a thing - "In a closed-door meeting in the basement of the Capitol, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) called on GOP lawmakers to instead support the efforts of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which is seeking more disclosures on the Epstein case from the Justice Department (DOJ), the Epstein estate, and former federal law enforcement officials who worked on the case."   - The Hill

There's a site dedicated to urging people to contact their reps.  It links to your rep and even provides a script.  It will update the numbers as more sign on.  - RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES

MOVE ON has an online petition for citizens to sign as well.  They have almost hit their target of 75,000 signatures.
