John Fetterman... MarkWayne Mullin's Friend

John Fetterman should not have a D next to his name.  He votes with Republicans over and over.

In his latest move, he voted with Republicans to advance the despicable Markwayne Mullin (Fetterman's friend) for head of Homeland Security.  His was the deciding vote.

His constituents likely have Buyer's Remorse, but little can be done until the 2028 primaries.

Pro-War Fetterman with Bibi

So what are the options?  Who on the hill can do something about the Fetterman situation?

I have mostly ignored him up to now, understanding he could not be counted on and choosing to spend my time on other things, but it bothers me that he is still considered a Democrat.  Does he get any funding from the Democrats?  Does he get wined and dined in efforts to change his mind on key votes?  What perks does he have?  Is he given a seat at the table when plans are being discussed?  Surely,  he deserves nothing from Dems.  He messes up so many crucial votes.

Honestly, I am having a hard time figuring out who to contact about this, but I did come up with something.   Fetterman serves on 4 committees.  I'm writing the Ranking Members of these committees asking that they shun Fetterman and do anything they can to keep him away from important information and discussions.

Reminder - "Ranking Member" is what they call the minority party  (Democrat) leader of a committee.  Since Republicans are the current majority of the House and Senate, their committee leaders are referred to as the Chairman.

I'm also writing a few other Democrats to urge them to shun Fetterman.  The way that some Dems vote with Republicans on key votes over and over is very upsetting.  It definitely doesn't inspire Party confidence.  Whenever this happens, we need to speak up loudly.
